The video of the day is quite amazing showing a flying man above the mountain. The guy is “simply” gliding with a special suit that allows him to almost fly just a few meters higher than the ground of the snowy mountain.

Kayak fans might have certainly not missed this wonderful event that took place in Bourg Saint Maurice. The French Kayak Championship was there for a nice event not very far from the famous ski resort Les Arcs - La Plagne.

The best champions of the discipline have been playing in non-buoyant water as it is illustrated on this picture from Raphaël Thiebaut.

This 2008 edition is over but Bourg Saint Maurice is used to organize such events every year at the same period. Hope you’ll appreciate !

This is official, the new version of skiii.com has been launched and you can from now access to this site of ski rentals by owner in an english version. The flags in the upper right corner allow you to switch from french to english. This is an important step for us, since we have got landlords (owners) that might not speak french, but we also have customers (tenant) that only speak english. Everybody should be happy with this new functionnality, classified ads can now be accessed by anybody almost.

Population of customers who are interested in renting ski holidays accommodations by owner is now larger and the traffic on the website will become more important.

Everything looks fine for the season 2008-2009, it should be full of bookings and hopefully lot’s of snow !!!

It has been hard work to launch this new version of skiii.com that includes a blog where you’ll find news, articles and all sort of information. We’ll update this blog very often so that you might come on a regular basis to see what’s up in the world of skiii.com.

I wanted this first article to illustrate what we (skiii.com) believe in, and at the end what this is all about. So here it is !!!
